RECRUITMENT EMAIL - NAVIGATORS/CLINICAL PROVIDERS

Hello,

I am writing to inform you of a research study being conducted by researchers affiliated with University of Virginia and Locus Health, a health care software developer based in Charlottesville, VA. We are conducting this study in order to develop a software program that will help patient navigators (PNs) and clinical providers support patients and survivors with breast or colorectal cancer more effectively.  We hope to learn more about the experiences of PNs and care team members as they obtain key information about and assess patients and provide supporting resources.

We hope that you consider participating in this study or consider referring others for participation by distributing this email to anyone you know that may qualify.

Study Purpose:

  *   To enhance the navigation of breast and colorectal cancer patients and facilitate better communication and integration with patients and among care teams, using a software solution

Who Can Participate:

  *   People who are currently navigating breast or colorectal cancer patients, or part of the clinical care team for these patients; and
  *   Are 21-70 years of age; and
  *   Are able to speak English; and
  *   Have access to a computer to participate in an interactive Zoom interview.

Where:
Via an interactive video conference, using a Zoom link provided via email.

What Study Participation Includes:

  *   A 60-minute software demonstration/interview to help us evaluate solutions that  can assist cancer patient navigators (PNs) and clinical care teams as they educate, communicate, and coordinate care for these patient groups.
  *   Completion of a demographic questionnaire.

Compensation:
$100 gift cards will be provided to all study participants
